Since the inception of John Earle & Son in 1935, land and property auctions have been a main feature of John Earle & Son's professional approach to selling cottages, houses, farms and land. Originally conducted by the late Mr John Reginald Earle, this role was taken over by Tony Earle in the 1960's assisted by his brother David Earle and then in the mid-1990s the gavel was passed to Richard Abbey who now aims to conduct a property and land auction on a monthly basis which are held in Henley Golf and Country Club's main function room with the aid of plasma screens and a good PA system.
