| JUNE 2011 AUCTION RESULTS |
The John Earle June auction was held at 6.30pm on the 12th at Henley Golf and Country Club.
Following a successful marketing campaign and a high level of viewers, the room was full with willing buyers.
The first lot was The Old Vicarage, Wilmcote an historic Grade II Listed former vicarage with outbuildings and land extending to 3.94 acres, marketed at a guide price of £675,000. This property had not been sold since 1977 when is was sold by the Church of England and potential buyers appreciated this rare opportunity. Serious bidding got underway with several people competing with the hammer eventually going down at £688,000.
The next two lots were 2.19 acres and 2.22 acres at The Old Vicarage selling for £25,000 and £48,000 respectfully.
Our last lot was Oakwood Farm at Tanworth in Arden and whilst this property did not sell in the room we subsequently have several very interested parties and are confident that a sale will be agreed.
