A village and civil parish in the Stratford district of Warwickshire, 5 miles north of Stratford-upon-Avon. Originally a parochial chapelry annexed to Wootton Wawen. The longest aqueduct in England, Edstone Aqueduct, is just outside Bearley on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal. Snitterfield Bushes is a Site of Special Scientific Interest managed by the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and lies 1.2 miles east of Bearley.

The village Railway station is run by Chiltern Rail http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/content.php?nID=15&detail=BER The village church is St Mary the Virgin which was rebuilt in 1875. The village pub is The Golden Cross.
