Lowsonford lies alongside the Stratford Canal. The village is best known for it's ever-popular public house "The Fleur de Lys" www.pub-explorer.com/warwks/pub/fleurdelyslowsonford.htm The Fleur dates back to the 18th century and remains still very traditional to this day. In the 1950's the pub began making meat pies and are to this day nationally known. There is also a local village hall www.warwickshire.gov.uk/corporate/communit.nsf used for leisure and social activities.This peaceful traditional English village is well hidden in the Warwickshire Country side although within easy reach of Henley-in-Arden, Knowle & Dorridge, Solihull and Warwick benefiting from the many amenities they have to offer.
