Lowsonford lies alongside the Stratford Canal. The village is best known for it's ever-popular public house "The Fleur de Lys" www.pub-explorer.com/warwks/pub/fleurdelyslowsonford.htm The Fleur dates back to the 18^th century and remains still very traditional to this day. In the 1950's the pub began making meat pies and are to this day nationally known. There is also a local village hall www.warwickshire.gov.uk/corporate/communit.nsf used for leisure and social activities.This peaceful traditional English village is well hidden in the Warwickshire Country side although within easy reach of Henley-in-Arden, Knowle & Dorridge, Solihull and Warwick benefiting from the many amenities they have to offer.
